These Terms of Use apply to duilawyersbyprovince.com and to the provincial and territorial directories in the DUI Lawyers by Province network, including albertaduilawyers.com and yukonduilawyers.com (together, the “sites”). The network is operated by DUI Lawyers by Province, a business registered in Michigan, USA (“we”, “us”). Each provincial site also has its own Terms of Use, which apply to that site.
1. What the sites are
The sites are directories of lawyers who defend impaired driving charges, with plain-language guides. They provide general information only. They are not legal advice, and using them does not create a lawyer-client relationship with us or with any listed lawyer.
2. Listings and Premium subscriptions
Listings are prepared from public information, and firms may claim, correct or remove their listing at any time. Premium listings are sold on each provincial site at CAD $29 per month or CAD $299 per year through Stripe. A monthly plan is a one-month commitment and an annual plan is a 12-month commitment. Plans renew automatically for the same term until the firm turns off renewal before the next renewal date. Payments are not refundable or prorated for partial terms, except where the law requires otherwise. The full subscription terms are on each provincial site’s Terms of Use page.
3. Flat advertising fee
Premium is a flat advertising fee. We do not charge referral fees, take a share of legal fees, or refer clients to particular lawyers, and we do not endorse any lawyer.
4. No warranty and limitation of liability
The sites are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the sites or reliance on their content.
5. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, except where the law of your province or territory requires otherwise.
